I've been thinking about this for a while and have come to the conclusion that I need to put this blog on hiatus for a short-ish time. I feel something different coming on and I'd like to transform the blog to reflect that difference. I am not exactly sure what the changes will look like, but the ideas are simmering. I feel the steam building in the back of my brain. My goal is to be up and running with a new format by the end of August. I'm going to wrangle a few lessons in html from Sarah when she's here and work on some new content over the summer.
It has been one year since we moved out here (can that be?!) And almost one year since I started this blog. I've had fun keeping track of all the eye and heart-opening experiences that have taken place in this first year of our new life phase. I'm still in complete awe that I live here.
I'm so grateful to those of you who have read this blog and commented on it, whether in person or via the comments section. Thanks to all of you!
I will be keeping up with all of your blogs and I will be back in touch soon.
Cheers!
Meg

oh my ... I am soooo excited to see what you have in store for us avid readers (well, avid when I get chance!) enjoy the break and the process of swirling all those ideas around. I'll be back to check in when I can!!!! x
Okay, so I haven't been following your blog from the beginning (far from it!), but I've enjoyed the few months that I have been following it! I'll miss you during your hiatus, but I look forward to what's in store. Enjoy your time off, and let the ideas flow during that time. I hope you'll stop by and say "hi" every once in a while. You know I'll have some "eye candy" for you!
Take care!
We still get to see the horses, right? Right, Meg?! Cause I can be all kinds of patient for blog changes. But critters and plants... not so much.
A cliff-hanger... I love it.
Well ding dong diddly - take that break ! And bring on your HTML fancified self in August ! xo, Col
Your hiatus from blogging can only result in a richer outpouring of what makes you a distinctive personality and writer, Meg.
What comes next will be loaded bush of berries for us to savor.
